A short history of ICTours
After obtaining a
master's degree in English literature at the University of Antananarivo
in 1993, the founder Mrs Hely RAKOTOMANANTSOA began her career in tourism
as a Tour guide for a Malagasy Tour Operator. In 1995, she had the
opportunity to continue studying Tourism Management in Belgium. This has enabled her
to acquire more theoretical knowledge about the business of Tourism. In
December 1998, after graduation from the Tourism
Management School
in Brussels, she went back to Madagascar and founded ICTours: a tour
Operator based in Antananarivo.
With our experience,
our multicultural background, our serviability and our willingness to
serve the others, we made ICTours one of the few Malagasy tours Operators
offering a personalised and multilingual service ( French, English,
Dutch, German). Having a good reputation towards our partners either in Madagascar
or abroad, our teamwork guarantees quality service and good value.
Actually ICTours is
not a big tour operator but our leitmotiv is to give clients the most
personalizing service. All visitors are all very satisfied with ICTours,
as they realize that they are not treated like "numbers" but
are personally taken care of before, during and even after their trip to Madagascar.

busses and cars, this enables the company to be always near the clients

Island Continent Hotel : I.C. HOTEL*** .Situated in the same
location as ICTours, 3 minutes’ drive from “Ivato
International airport it serves as a departure point for all our tours. A
haven of wonderful hospitality, it is designed for guests looking for
peace and comfort. Built in a highland traditional architecture, the hotel is superbly positioned on
a hilltop, which gives guest a panoramic
view of Imerina countryside.
With 10 twin - 6 double
rooms and 1 Familial suite, ICHotel can accommodate 30 people. Designed
and decorated in a Malagasy style, rooms inspire elegance and peace.
Furniture, floors are made from the precious pallissandre wood, which
gives all rooms a cosy and warm atmosphere. Interior decoration is with
local art, curtains and bedclothes are
linen.
Every room has en-suite bathrooms, spacious veranda, TV set,
telephone, Mini bar, hair dryer, desk, luggage rack. I.C.Hotel offers
guests the luxury of a large swimming pool with a huge terrace, which
makes it a comfortable and elegant
retreat for the discerning traveller.
