General characteristics
This old railways station is the oldest hotel in Andasibe. Built during the French colonisation , it has kept its original charm and cachet of a colonial building. Inside, the spacious restaurant always warmed by a fireplace in the middle of the room . On the other side of the restaurant are situated the small bungalows, with private shower and toilet, all made with local materials.
New bigger bungalows are just built about 200 meter from the railways station, at the edge of the tropical forest of " Andasibe National Park"
Room grade:
10 small with twin bedded bungalows all with private bathroom and toilet.
6 big spacious bungalows for 4 persons with mezzanine and a fireplace all with private bathroom and toilet.
All bungalows have a terrace overlooking the forest .
Sports and animation :
Since it is situated between the village and the national park, special guides are mostly found in the hotel and it is also a good departure point for walk into the village to the rainforest .
